Michelle Winick Design caters to the most discerning clientele. She specializes in custom homes and alterations and is known for offering solutions to the most complex design problems. Michelle offers design consulting in almost every area of a project. Along with home alterations, she also provides design services for furniture, window treatments, carpet/area rugs, tile, countertops and accessories.
Michelle walks her clients through all the steps of design, starting with the blueprints and navigates through all the details involved such as kitchen design, tile design, hardware, trim, lighting and paint. She then works on all the finishing touches that are involved to complete the spaces.
Michelle works with clients on doing a "face lift" to their homes using paint as her greatest tool for design. Michelle can transform a space using just the elements you already have and create plans for updates that are innovative and economical such as repainting cabinets, or changing out tile to completely alter an area.
Along with her work on large projects, she is also a color consultant and does color consultations for clients who are doing painting projects. This service is unique because she can come out to your home for a one time fee and provide you with a full paint palette as well as paint schedule which specifies all placement of colors and products. This allows the homeowner to go into their painting project with full knowledge of what will be used for their project.
She works with clients on all aspects of design keeping budgets and timelines in mind at all times. She works as design project manager on new homes and renovations and is involved in all decision making from the time of the construction beginning. Michelle will create renderings for projects that give a client a clear vision of what the final result will be. She is in constant communication with her clients and offers her expertise in many areas of the field throughout the projects. Having knowledge in the construction end of the projects, she offers her perspective not only from an aesthetic viewpoint, but from experience of how to execute the actual building of a space which is unique for an interior designer. She knows the ins and outs of building a home, and uses this knowledge when looking to do structural modifications to a space.
Michelle Winick Design will be featured on an episode of "George to the Rescue" on NBC this Fall!
